About Greenbank Scout Group

Greenbank Scout Group was formed in 1982 and been running continuously ever since. From the first nights held at the Greenbank School and an old building in the grounds of the Army camp, to using demountable buildings on private property, Greenbank has been part of this community. The group fundraised and then built the current block building on LCC grounds in JJ Smith Memorial Park in around 1994.

Growth in the local community and a group of wonderful engaged volunteers has ensured Greenbank Scout Group has continued to grow and are proud to be the largest Scout Group in Queensland with over 180 youth members across 5 sections. Such has been the explosion of growth over the past 10 years, we applied and were successful in a Federal Govt Grant in 2016 to add a further building to aid in the delivery of the Scouting program.

Greenbank Scout Group is located at 145 Teviot Road, Greenbank.
